AgriDigital and Aus. Agribusiness announce local distribution partnership in South Australia

An undeniable synergy between AgriDigital’s Waypath app for farmers and Aus. Agribusiness’s grain accumulation clients has been formalised into a first-of-its-kind distribution partnership.

AgriDigital Co Founder Ben Reid said this alliance just makes sense and continues to put the farmer at the forefront of business decisions for both companies.

“We launched our Waypath app for farmers 12 months ago and although we have a good connection with growers right across the country, we also acknowledge that local connections and ‘boots on the ground’ are key when selling digital tools to farmers.

“Aus. Agribusiness has an extremely reputable grain accumulation program and boasts a combined 25+ years of grain supply chain experience.

“Our partnership means farmers will be able to talk to someone with an in-depth understanding of the local grain supply chain, and when possible will be able to speak in person to the Aus. Agribusiness team at field days or have the team easily out on-farm to demonstrate how Waypath works," Mr Reid said.

Aus. Agribusiness has been using the AgriDigital Platform to manage grain grower contracts since 2019. Executive Manager Andrew Hannon said that after being so impressed with the software and support from the team, becoming a distribution partner of the Waypath app was a logical extension.

“This partnership will allow us to work with existing and future grower customers to provide an important value-add to their farming operation.

“We believe that well thought out technology, such as Waypath improves efficiency for all parties in the grain sector. By being able to provide the Waypath solution to grain growers we are assisting them to get a clear picture of their grain inventory, to make better and more informed decisions in real-time,” he said.

“We work with a large and diverse group of grain growers and their brokers across different geographic regions. Some have a domestic consumer at their gate while others are freight advantaged into the export market.

“Waypath’s ability to operate in areas without connectivity and the flexibility to input multiple farms under one company is crucial for our customer base.”
